Arrangements are underway for the biggest improv festival St. Louis has had since... when was the last one?

Please save April the 2nd. Block it out on your calendar.

The details are being hashed out and nothing is set in stone, but here are some of the the talking points to whet your appetite:

- Event is April 2, 2011
- Will be held at Ladue High School
- Open invitation to anyone to attend morning workshops
- Performance invitations will be extended to local area troupes: high school, collegiate, and pro/semi-pro
- Workshops in the morning
- Morning workshops to be provided by St. Louis area coaches such as Bill Chott (The Improv Trick); Ed Reggi (St. Louis Improv, Paper Slip); Nick Kelly (Lindenwood's Nick of Time Players); Andy Sloey (The Improv Shop and CORE Improv); Kevin McKernan (The Improv Shop); Steven Vance (CORE Improv); and Mimi Swoboda (CORE Improv)
- Afternoon performances, possibly to include: a high school shortform tournament, longform exhibitions, improv jams
